The band unveil a new song "Good Feelings" during a concert his Rome
The band unveiled a new song called Good Feelings, presumably for its forthcoming album Moon Music, during their concert in Rome, Italy, last Friday.
Coldplay fans know that the track Good Feelings has been around for a few years, as it was originally slated to appear on Music of the Spheres, Moon Music's 2021 predecessor. This Max Martin-produced version of the track should have included an appearance from the Chainsmokers, with whom the band collaborated on the single Something Just Like This in 2017. The version to be included on Moon Music, however, would instead include emerging Nigerian singer Ayra Starr.
So far, the band has officially shared the first single feelslikeimfallinginlove for Moon Music, although another new song they've performed live, All My Love, also seems to be tipped for the band's next and 10th studio album, due for release on October 4.
When Coldplay announced Moon Music, the band said it would release the album on a number of different media adhering to "new standards of sustainability". For example, each vinyl-pressed copy of the album would be made from nine recycled plastic bottles, while the CD version would be made from 90% recycled polycarbonate. The band said that their efforts would reduce production-related CO2 emissions by at least 78%, and avoid the use of more than five metric tons of virgin plastic.
